About

WHY CMP

A menu’s main job is marketing. It highlights items that are popular, easy to create, and/or provide the most profit contribution. It exists to persuade customers to choose those items.

Why Choose Cleveland Menu?

A great menu is more than a list of dishes — it’s the most influential part of your guest’s experience. It builds your brand, guides choices, and drives revenue.

Your passion goes into every dish. Our craft is turning that passion into a restaurant menu design that works as your most reliable sales tool. A tool that looks sharp, lasts as long as you need it to, and reinforces your brand identity at every table.

A menu that works. That is our craft.
We call it menucraft. And we’ve perfected it.

Most guests spend more time with your menu than with your staff. While you train servers to communicate clearly and deliver exceptional service, your menus deserve just as much attention (if not more).

Cleveland Menu has been serving the hospitality industry since 1930, specializing in the design and production of high quality printed, leather, metal, and wood menu covers. In-house production and a full scale design services team allows us to manufacture your custom menu or covers to any size or shape you need.

Cleveland Menu can manufacture:

  • Formal and casual menu boards
  • Drink menus and dessert menus
  • Durable check presenters
  • Custom table tents and acrylic stands
  • Waterproof or vinyl placemats
  • Door hangers and other hospitality accessories

And we don’t just print — we partner with you to ensure every touchpoint of your menu supports your brand. If you can dream it, we can make it!

Our Capabilities Include:

  • Graphic design and typesetting for impactful restaurant menu designs
  • 6-color offset and UV printing
  • Single- and multi-color inserts
  • Foil stamping, embossing, lamination, and die-cutting
  • Digital printing and custom binding options

We serve restaurants, bars, country clubs, cruise lines, and more! Always with one goal: create menus that work and help your business thrive. We treat every project with the same attention because menu making is our craft.

Cleveland Menu is menucraft perfected.

OUR STORY

Julius believed that a business will succeed if you work ethically and take care of your people and your customers.

From a Small Acorn
Grew a Tall and Healthy Tree

Julius Ramella grew up in an orphanage in the early 1900s. He started working for a small menu company as a printer when he was 18 years old and eventually bought the printing division of the company, founding Cleveland Menu Printing, Inc. in 1930.

Today, Cleveland Menu is a 3rd-generation family business that still adheres to Julius’ work ethic and beliefs.

Don’t confuse “family business” with “old and slow.” Cleveland Menu has remained the leader in the menu industry by constantly evolving and adapting to changing trends, technology and customer needs. With more than 50 menu specialists located in our state-of-the-art facility, we create, print and manufacture menus under one roof – not a single task is outsourced.

When we say we do the work, we mean it!
